Barack Obama’s half-sister Auma Obama was born in 1960 to Kezia, his father’s first wife. She studied in German at the University of Heidelberg and University of Bayreuth, earning a PHD degree in 1996.
She lived in London got married to an Englishman Ian Manners In 1996 and was later blessed with a baby girl named Akinyi. Auma Obama who has been on almost every Kenyan’s lips remembers how she picked him from JKIA with her small Beetle vehicle in 1992. She got to ride in the beast with him when he landed on Friday and has been the envy of many since then.
